ASHEVILLE SUPPORT


Calling all Road Glide family members who want to help friends in need. 

As you know our choice of location for the 2025 RGNR  is Asheville, North Carolina.  They have recently been hit hard by Hurricane Helene.  The town and its people really need our help.  I’m sure you’ve seen the pictures of the damage and devastation.  Roads are washed out, entire towns are gone, and businesses and homes are damaged beyond repair in many cases.  Part of Road Glide National Rally’s charter is to provide assistance where we see fit and there’s no better fit right now than the town we plan to gather in this coming August.

BIG NEWS....  The RGNR Board has pledged to match ALL donations, dollar-for-dollar, up to $5,000!   Also, if you make a 75.00 or more donation to one of these charities we will send you a FREE SUPPORTER T-Shirt

We’ve seen you in action when there is a need and you’ve always come through and shown yourselves to be some of the most generous donors. Here’s your chance to do it again.  Your Board of Directors has identified the following organizations that we believe are providing great and cost effective benefit to the people of the area.

Since 1970, Samaritan’s Purse has helped meet needs of people who are victims of war, poverty, natural disasters, disease, and famine with the purpose of sharing God’s love through His Son, Jesus Christ. The organization serves the Church worldwide to promote the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ.

*Help Us Airdrop Essential Aid to NC Mountain Communities Affected by Hurricane Helene**
 
In the wake of Hurricane Helene, the mountain communities of North Carolina have been devastated. Many areas are inaccessible due to severe flooding, landslides, and downed trees, leaving residents cut off from crucial supplies like food, water, and medical aid. We need your help to fund helicopter fuel to airdrop life-saving aid to these remote areas.
 
Every donation will go directly toward fueling helicopters that will deliver much-needed supplies to the hardest-hit communities. These airdrops are vital for reaching families and individuals who are currently stranded with no other way to access emergency resources.

3.   International Fund for Animal Welfare 

In the devastating aftermath of Hurricane Helene, IFAW is now on the ground to support emergency response efforts. Just two days after the hurricane made landfall, our teams deployed North Carolina and Georgia, where widespread flooding and destruction have left more than 50 people dead and millions without power.

4.  CHURCHES OF CHRIST DISASTER RELIEF

The Churches of Christ Disaster Relief Effort immediately responds to any major disaster in the United States, and US Territories by sending truckloads of emergency food, water, cleaning, and other supplies to be distributed to all disaster victims in the disaster area through a local Church of Christ.

5.  B STRONG

  Providing emergency assistance to people in crisis – an initiative in partnership with Global Empowerment    Mission.  They provide Family Necessity Kits and other critical supplies to provide to any of those who may be affected by the storm.
